ai/notes is built so your notes never leave your device. This page explains exactly what the extension does and what it doesn't do.

/What we collect

Nothing. ai/notes does not collect, transmit, or store any of your notes on external servers. Everything you write is saved only in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local), on your own device.

/What the extension accesses

ai/notes reads the current tab's URL to determine which supported AI site you're on — Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini — and inserts your saved notes into that site's chat input field when it's empty. It does not read, log, or transmit the content of your conversations, and it never overwrites text you're already typing.

/Third parties

We don't share data with third parties, because no note data ever leaves your device in the first place.

/Payments

One-time payments are processed by Stripe. We don't see or store your card details — Stripe handles that directly. You can read Stripe's own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

/Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted on the ai/notes landing page.
